ABOUT US
Kozy Beans Coffee is owned and operated by Julie and Brian Kozy; local residents of Gambrills, MD. Julie, Brian, and their kids came to Maryland in 2010 from Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. We were born and raised in Western PA and graduated from Penn State University. Julie is a crafty homemaker, a former professional schoolteacher, and now homeschools their kids. Brian is a professional civil engineer and avid fisherman, outdoorsman, and necessary handy man. We are active in the community, serve as members at a local church, and regularly support domestic and international missions work. We love people and always look for ways to serve and connect with others. We have deep Christian faith and are using this business to live out the Golden Rule “Treat others as you wish to be treated.” Both Brian and Julie love to tell their stories of missions work, community support, travel to Spain, RV adventures to national parks of the U.S., and hear the stories from their extended family of customers.
